Influences Shaping Leadership in a Male-Dominated Field
Linda’s journey has been shaped by mentorship from female partners Jean McIvor (retired), and Tshepo Shabangu. They provided guidance early on, emphasizing the importance of resilience and empathy, particularly as a woman in a male-dominated field. Her mentors have reinforced the significance of women uplifting and supporting one another.
Additionally, the support of male mentors like retired partner, Stephen Goldberg and colleague, Faan Wolvaardt have helped her navigate the complexities of IP law.
