Jigra is also a story of sibling bond, with strong women’s fighter spirit. It is hitting theaters on 11th October 2024. Jigra is co-produced by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt.

2. Do Patti

Kanika Dhillon’s Do Patti features Kajol and Kriti Sanon in key roles. The cop thriller is the debut film from Kanika’s production house, Kathha Pictures, and will release exclusively on Netflix. It is penned by Kanika Dhillon herself and directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi.

3. Gandhari

Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film Gandhari is a women-led revenge drama. This will be the sixth collaboration between writer-producer Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee, with Devashish Makhija at the helm. The team is all set to start shooting this November.

4. Maa

Maa starring Kajol is one of the most-awaited movies. Directed by Vishal Furia, the shoot of the movie has already been wrapped, and we are keenly waiting for it to hit the screens. Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn under the banner of Devgn Films.

5. Mrs

Film Star, Sanya Malhotra in the lead role, directed by Aarti Kadav. This is a highly complex characterization of a dancing woman who was also trained to be a teacher but at the same time accepted responsibility as a wife after getting married and was trying to seek her own way in life so she could establish her voice and individual identity in an effort to be liberated in self-expression, considering that there was apprehension by society over her marital life. It is officially a remake of a Malayalam comedy-drama film, The Great Indian Kitchen.
